We are happy to welcome you as a guest in our villa, and hope that you will have an unforgettable time. Although much is possible and allowed, there are of course a number of house rules and conditions.

House rules:

  1. It is not allowed to be present in the house at night with more people than stated during your reservation. Never more than 8!
  2. Smoking is not allowed in the entire house. Outside is no problem.
  3. Pets are not allowed.
  4. Glassware at or in the pool is not allowed for your own safety. Use the plastic cups for that!
  5. We also have neighbors. You come for your relaxation, our neighbors live here for relaxation. It is no problem to enjoy music during the day and early evening in and around the pool. Noise pollution after 22:00 is prohibited. And keep it quiet outside between 23:00 and 08:00
  6. It is not allowed to take our towels, bed linen and/or other bedding to the beach. For each missing towel we will deduct € 40.00 from your deposit. For a pillow we charge € 60.00
  7. All furniture inside must also remain inside.
  8. High chair and cot can be used free of charge at your own risk, keep them tidy. 
  9. Gourmet, fondue and/or barbecuing is prohibited in the house!
  10. Do not throw sanitary towels, tampons or condoms in the toilet! Use the waste bins for this. Any blockage will be at your expense.
  11. Close full garbage bags properly and deposit them in the wheelie bin downstairs.
  12. ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY! 

 

General terms and conditions:
Reservation request: A reservation request is normally taken as an option for a maximum of two days. If no definitive reservation has been made within those two days, the landlord reserves the right to rent the property to another party.
Reservation: Your reservation request is definitive as soon as we have confirmed it to you in writing, i.e. by letter or e-mail.
Cancellation by tenant: In the event of cancellation by the tenant up to four weeks before the date of arrival, 50% of the total amount will be refunded. That is, if the total amount has been paid by the tenant at the time of cancellation. If only 50% of the total amount has been paid at the time of cancellation, no refund will be made. In the event of cancellation within four weeks before the date of arrival, no refund will be made. We recommend that you take out cancellation and travel insurance.
Cancellation by landlord: In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the landlord may cancel the reservation. Unforeseen circumstances and force majeure include, but are not limited to: - that the house is no longer suitable for rental (for example: due to (natural) disasters) - that the house is no longer available (for example due to sudden sale of the house by the landlord) or a double reservation. In this case, the landlord will refund the rental costs already paid in full or in part without being liable for any compensation. The landlord is never liable for the costs of any services booked by the (co-)tenant (for example: airline tickets, car rental, boat crossing, bus/train trips, etc.).
Departure: On the day of departure, we ask you to leave at 12 noon. In consultation, we can see whether a later time is possible.
Deposit: After the final cleaning and counting of towels, bed linen, crockery and cutlery. And after checking all electronic devices, we will immediately refund the deposit to the bank account number from which the reservation was paid. We are not difficult about one glass, but please report it so that the new tenant also has enough glasses, cutlery or whatever.
Security: We have one camera on the front facade, which is aimed at the street and the entrance gates (see screenshot)
Furthermore, you will not find a camera in and around the house. If you want to switch off the camera because you want to let in extra guests, for example, we will receive a notification immediately.
Smoke detectors: We have 3 smoke detectors in the house. 1 in the apartment downstairs, 1 in the kitchen and 1 on the landing upstairs. The smoke detectors give a loud alarm signal of 100db if smoke and/or heat develops somewhere. We also receive a signal directly at our home via the telephone. The smoke detectors are there for your safety! So do not try to switch them off because you want to smoke inside. We will receive a notification immediately. Because we cannot see what is going on from a distance, we will immediately call the fire brigade. In case of false alarm, all costs are for your account
Noise pollution: (See house rules) If our neighbours are bothered by noise pollution and they call the police, all consequences and costs are for your account. Take it from us, the Spanish police (usually) work a little differently than in your own country.
Damage: All damage to/in/around our house, or of our neighbours by your actions, are for your account
Liability: You stay in our house at your own risk, i.e. we, the owners of Villa La Casa de Pintor, are in no way liable and can in no way be held liable for any damage suffered and/or injury sustained in our house or on our premises, in whatever form.
We are in no way liable for any claims arising from noise pollution.
We are in no way liable for supervision of children!!!
It remains entirely your own responsibility to provide supervision for your child(ren)
It is forbidden for adults and children without a diploma to use the swimming pool!
We are in no way liable for the use of the high chair/cot
In the event of damage to our property exceeding the amount of the deposit, the General Liability Act will come into effect and the damage can be settled through the Liability Insurance.
Parking: parking in the street is free and at your own risk.
Keys: You will receive 2 x 2 keys for the gate and the front door. If you accidentally lose the keys, we would like to know immediately. The costs for losing 2 keys are € 35 for the keys to the villa. 
Gardener: Our gardener comes by once a week to maintain the garden and swimming pool. We do everything we can to do this during the changeovers. This will not be possible for a longer stay of a week. We will let you know.
Complaints or suggestions: Despite our care, it is possible that you have a complaint or suggestion. Please let us know in time so that we can maintain and/or improve our service and quality and do something about it immediately and during your stay.
Complaints that are only reported upon or after departure can no longer be processed.
Our house: Our house is for relaxing, enjoying, laughing, resting, maybe a little work, etc. We hope that you will do that!
Conclusion: We do not assume this. But if you do not adhere to our house rules and conditions. Then we reserve the right to deny you access to our house with immediate effect. And to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect, without refunding the remaining nights.
